Reading the website

You do not need an account to read the guides. The supplied site code does not include analytics, advertising trackers, remote font services, social embeds or third-party scripts. Images, styles and scripts are requested from the same site.

Serving a page necessarily involves technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser details. The hosting infrastructure may record access or security logs. The static page code does not control those logs or establish a retention period for them. Do not interpret the absence of tracking scripts as a promise that no technical request data exists.

The local drafting tool

The contact tool processes the name, subject and message you enter in your browser. It constructs a plain-text draft and displays it on the page. It does not submit the fields to a server, send email or save the draft in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage.

Text remains in the page while it is open. Leaving or refreshing may discard it, although your browser may restore form values according to its own settings. Use a private device if your draft contains information you do not want another device user to see.

Clipboard and downloads

Choosing “Copy draft” asks your browser to put the draft on your device’s clipboard. Clipboard contents may be accessible to other apps or synchronised by your operating system. Choosing “Download text” creates a plain-text file through a temporary browser object URL. It does not upload the file.

You control the copied text and downloaded file. Delete them when no longer needed, especially on a shared device. The site cannot remotely remove those copies.

Email you choose to send

If you send a message through your email app, your email address, message contents and any other information you include are transmitted through email systems rather than through the drafting tool. Such correspondence can be used to read and respond to your request, investigate a correction or address a privacy issue.

Include only what is necessary. Do not send passwords, payment information, medical information or confidential material. Email is not guaranteed to be confidential, and your provider has its own handling and retention practices. No fixed response time or blanket email-retention period is represented here.

Browser storage and external sites

The supplied website code does not set cookies or persistent browser preferences. Your browser may cache downloaded page assets. Read Browser Storage for more detail.

External reference links open other websites when you choose them. Those sites receive the normal connection information required to load their pages and apply their own privacy notices. Review those notices before using their services.

Requests and changes

You may contact the email above to ask about personal information included in correspondence, request a correction or request deletion where applicable.
